Specifications

The travel time in hours or the range in nautical miles will depend on many factors: weight (number of persons on board), wind, current, etc.

At 3 knots, you could cruise up to 6-8 hours (range 24 nautical miles) with any of our engines. With our Mag Power 30.0, you can cruise for up to 50 minutes at 22 knots (about 20 nautical miles). The more powerful the engine, the faster the boat can go, but this does not increase range. To know more about the range and travel time for a specific boat configuration, ask for a quote here.

Our Torqeedo Cruise 6.0
Power: 6 Kw = 8 HP, Speed: 11km/h OR 6 knots

Our Torqeedo Cruise 12.0
Power: 12 Kw = 16 HP, Speed: 20km/h OR 11 knots

Our Mag Power 30.0
Power: 30 Kw = 40 HP, Speed: 40km/h OR 22 knots

The batteries can charge from any 220 V outlet (we provide a 110 V converter when required) at home or the marina. We have regular chargers (1 kW / hour) or fast chargers (3 kW / hour). The charging time will then depend on the battery size. A 10-kWh battery will take 10 hours with a regular charger but will only take 3.3 hours with a fast charger. A 24-kWh battery will take approximately 8 hours with a fast charger.

The batteries we use as part of our standard equipment have a life of over 3,000 cycles, which means they can be fully charged 3,000 times. For example, if you charge your Magonis three times a week, the boat will last about 19 years.

No worries, you won’t! We have two apps for controlling the boat and giving you advice, so you know you always have enough battery for your trip.

*Our Magonis app comes with the Mag Power 30.0
*The TorqTrac app comes with the Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 and Torqeedo Cruise 12.0

The plug can use shore power (see picture attached) available at any marina or port, or a 110 Volts 32 Amp conventional plug at your house (we provide adapters when needed).
Speed, autonomy, consumption, RPM, engine, and battery temperature are displayed on the iPad and the corsario, a small digital screen in the cockpit (see picture attached), but we recommend the iPad with the Magonis App (see picture attached).

Your Magonis can be transported by car on any boat trailer: it is lightweight and not wider than 2 meters.

We export Magonis all over the world. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Magonis Wave e-550 fits in any truck trailer for road transportation and a standard 20-foot container for sea transportation. Our specialized crating company guarantees 100% secure cargo wherever you want to enjoy your boat. We can deliver to your door, your marina, or you can pick it up yourself with any trailer that fits a 17-foot boat.

For more information about costs and delivery time, please request a quote here mentioning the country to which you want your boat delivered. You will need to provide us with the exact configuration of your Magonis as the final value influences the transportation costs.

Short story, yes! Longer story, this depends on many factors, such as outboard versus inboard motors, but overall electric boats are significantly quieter than petrol boats. Our Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 and Torqeedo Cruise 12.0 are nearly silent, and Mag Power 30.0 gives a minor tone due to the powerful engine, but the noise is nothing compared to what you’d experience on a petrol boat.

Usually 10-12 weeks, still less than a sofa. However, Magonis is very dependent on the global supply chain for batteries, where delivery time can lead to additional delays. We always recommend securing your boat 4 months prior to the intended date of delivery in Europe. Add 3 to 4 weeks for transportation and customs outside of Europe.
